There are two types of arthritis; rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis.  If you are feeling pain and swelling in your joints, feet, and hands you should call a rheumatologist to diagnose your problems.  Some helpful tips to help you cope with the pain is to 1) stay active and don't become a couch potato 2) take an ibuprofen in the morning 3) take fish oil  4) see your rheumatologist to prescribe you medication 5) have 1 glass Merlot if of age per week to bring down inflammation - other alternatives would be to walk around and keep moving.
